however much I agree with nearly everything you said, i must point out that you don't drive up 60 degree slopes in that rig, at least not any sizeable ones. Maybe quick jumps, but nothing significant. Many people don't realize that most off-road vehicles have trouble with 40 degree slopes. Although there are small little ledges and whatnot that add to the steepness of a hill, the overall hill is not normally steeper than 45 degrees.

wow thats low..the only problem with getting something that old/modified is you could be just taking on someone elses problems

I highly suggest doing tons of research on the car, and bringing it to a trusted mechanic to make sure the work was either professionally done or correctly done and in good shape

Note: I am not the owner, nor do I know the owner. My co-worker remembered seeing this car posted online and I was able to get the link from him.

Looks like he bought the car for $2000 and added a few parts.

Beware! He was considering making it RWD and using it as a drift car. Get it thoroughly checked out if you are considering this car.

well it was the plan to sell the vmrs that are (were) on it to help fund the rotis, but...i hit a curb when it was snowing and cracked the one rim and rashed another bad, so now i dont know what i want to do in the way of a new set of shoes for spring. have some thinking to do haha

Ok guys so now I have this (not the exact same truck but same year, reg. cab and longbed and white so, like this): Click for larger image

I got it from my Dad for a good price. It has some body rust that I'm going to fix and repaint. The front bumper is pretty rusty and I'm going to replace it with a chrome one from ebay. The drivers door is dented pretty badly from my Dad, so I'm going to order a new door shell on ebay too for about $130. All said and done, with the truck being brought back to good condition I'll probably have about $2500 left for me to spend on this truck. Now I want to keep a lot for gas. Even though it only has the 5.0L V8 it still drinks it pretty good.
I'm just wondering what is some stuff that I could do to it to make it look good. I was thinking MAYBE a lift kit:

I dirt bike a lot in the summer so it will definitely be useful to throw my dirt bike in the back. Also 4x4 is a nice thing to have. I wouldn't be towing too much, although my buddy has about an 8x20 trailer that we would always borrow my dads truck to tow, and we'd put about 4-5 dirt bikes on it. That's about it though for towing and stuff. I do like the convenience of throwing my skis in the back or just fitting a lot of junk in the bed.
I mean, I feel like I'll use it, but do you think it's necessary for me?
