You took the words right off my mind. That's much more like my truck than a crawler. I use mine for work, going to the mountain in any weather, and wheeling trips when me any my Toyota buddies' schedules line up.

Crawlers are more the rigs that run dual tc, external cages, bobbed trays, and 40s. At least IMO.

I also run a Marlin Crawler HD clutch kit, which stands up to typical clutch-toasting terrain much better than the OEM Aisin ones.

lol this rig has seen plenty of hairy shit, i dont do any redneck mud bogging - its strictly a trail/rock rig

automatics make it way easier when your on a huge slippery ass rock at a 60 degree angle..true I could just finagle my way with a hand brake and manual but ive had enough rigs in my time(yj, tj and xj's) that were manual and with this one the deal was too good to pass up just because it wasnt a stick

this rig is also a dd and sitting in boston traffic almost everyday makes me want to kill myself in an automatic - I would probably quit going to work if I had to drive in that shit everyday with a stick

nope- his is a 2000- bone stock except coils and wheels- perfect condition low miles- picked it up yesterday- black leather full power everything- it is a perfect b5 imo- plus since hes a marine he has money to actually do work to it unlike mine where I couldnt.

Im selling my z next week- no fast cars for awhile at least until summer- then looking at some older chassis and big supercharged american motors to put in them

not giving away too much but 2400 lbs and 580rhwp are my goal for this project

The mk4's are the best looking golf's. This guy in my city is selling a 02 golf for $4500. In the summer it was up for $7500. The guy is getting desperate. If I had $4500, I'd buy it in a heart beat.

only mods are 3 way flapper mod, real bbs ch's (summer mode), and UM software. plan on doing coils and unibrace in the spring and then saving up for other random things along the way

Well, my mustang just got totaled when I was just driving through a green light and some idiot didn't yield and slammed into the side of me.

I think I'm going to be able to get a 4x4 5.0 liter old F150 from my dads friend to get me through the winter. This summer I can have a truck to carry my dirtbike around with too. In the summer though I'll probably be looking for a new car for a daily driver, and I'll just keep the truck for when I need it.

It's to far away for me to really even say, but I'll probably end up with a pretty low budget for a car next summer. I'd say probably 5,000-8,500 max for a car. If anyone has any ideas at all as to what a good car would be, feel free to let me know. I know it's so far away and 8,500 isn't much, but I would just like to have some goals for what I'm saving up for because if I know what I want, I'll reach those goals faster.

As for specifics on a car...I'd like something semi-fast just because I got picked on enough for having a V6 mustang before (not that I'd speed if I got something fast, people wouldn't pick on me anymore though. Dumb reason but whatever.)Depending on the car I wouldn't mind doing some work to it and fixing it. To give everyone a general idea I've been checking out some older Audi A4's and there is a B5 S4 near me with 117,000miles for 7,500 which would be awesome. Any more ideas or cars I can set for a goal would be awesome. Thanks.
