that car is over twice as much as the audi I just bought im guessing and I searched around for a few months making sure I found the exact car I wanted, exact interior all that shit... for 40 grand.. If i was spending 80-100 you can be FOR SURE im getting EXACTLY what I WANT.

cool still waiting for pictures proving this is his car. If it is thats great but 99.9% of the time a 15 year old claiming he has a 100,000 dollar porsche is bullshit. im trying to get at the bullshit here not at the interior color of the car or if he is spoiled or not. spoiled or not, im not convinced this is his car.

Once again he has generic pictures you can find on google image. if he has this car, im sure he has an iphone, a blackberry, a droid... fucking some kind of digital camera and the internet. actually he has to have the internet being that he is posting on newschoolers. That being said, he is rich "supposedly" so I dont think it should be that hard for him to walk into his garage lay a piece of paper on the hood with his username on it and take a pic.

when that happens I will stop asking for proof. once again, this really has nothing to do with the interior color of a car or how spoiled he is. the way he was talking, he sounds spoiled enough to ask for the porsche with black interior. this is about some proof, people talk shit on me all the time saying, noo thats not your fucking car blah blah blah... I can walk outside take a picture of me in it or take a picture of my username on the hood or something, I can do that in 2 minutes. if this is his car, he should be able to do the same.

im just a FOOL though or whatever you meant by me being deluded ha. I can prove shit so can most of the other people on here, im asking for some proof. that makes me a fool.

your comeback, its the internet who cares if he shows yourproof or not why do you even fucking care?

my answer, I dont care I just want this kid to prove its his car if hes going to come on here and show it off..

not tryin to start a fight or anything. but honestly some kids are just straight up crazy rich because of there parents. its just the cards people are dealt. i have some friends like that and people dont usually beleive them because its insane but just let him handle it.

i have friends just like your friends!! when they post pictures of their car its usually at their house not pictures from google image.. and if they did have a google image photo and I asked for one at their house or something they would be able to provide that.

those are not the stock rotors that come on that car btw. sooo they were or werent changed??

once again NOT TO BE A DICK BUT I AM BEING ONE... If you have the money to buy this kind of car (talking about the guy before you) and upgrade it to a turbo S, you have the extra few grand to throw into the brakes. Not to mention the brakes are the most important part of your car especially when adding power, why would you go cheap on the brakes when you can spend 120k on a car?

meh, if he drives that 911... good for him. If not, he is prob a little weasel that has no friends in real life so he tries to puff himself up on teh interwebz.

To be honest, 911's are just another car to me... lol. It could be from being around them for years and driving every possible model but they really dont do it for me anymore. Just a fancy vw in disguise besides the GT series. We recently got a gt3 4.0 at work. Pretty fucking snazzy but never got to take it for a drive since it hadnt even been pdi'ed. So low and wide that they dont come with their front lip installed for fear of dismounting the transport trucks. They BARELY squeak onto a normal mechanics hoist because they are so wide, lol.

ill talk wheeling with ns crew too. ive got a 1999 xj with a 4.5 RC lift RC quick discos with rc shocks and stablizer RC 1600 trackbar rear always lock no slip 15 pacer wheels with mickey thomason atz 35s custom rear bumper and or-fab front with a 9500 RC winch no cable on it current i snapped the original stock engine straight piped cherry bomb. ill try to get pics later.

dude you quoted and respond twice.. you definitely read it and have no come back because you feel you are wrong and dont want to admit you are wrong. I myself have no problem admitting when im wrong. when the kid posts pictures that are his or posts something proving its his car I will say, hey man nice car, sorry I didnt believe you but you can understand how its hard to believe something like this on a site full of 13 year olds.

ive driven 997/996 gt3's and both are a fucking blast. The ceramic brake upgrades are fucking hilarious. Once they warm up it is so easy to get a headache from being used to the pedal application of standard brakes, but you forget you have those huge ceramic brakes so you end up almost kissing the steering wheel often, lol. I never got a chance to drive that 4.0 liter gt3 though, that thing looks like a beast.

996 gt3's are dirt cheap now a days, so its completely achievable to get one. Just be aware of the standard engine problems of the 996 era cars. Being around them over the past 5 years i have seen many complete engine failures on 996 chasis 911's from various reasons. most commonly intermediate shafts but still many different nagging issues like a shitty design for the RMS. Surprisingly, not that many nagging problems on the 996's just occasionally you see the "game over" problems pop up a couple times a year.

If I were to buy an older GT3 the motor would be coming out immediately and it would be built. I would like to get a 4.0 one but those are cheese.

and to whoever it was asking what job or whatever.. I dont have a job I have 2 cars right now that if I sold could have around 80 to 90k. Plan on doing that sometime in the future and using that as a rather large down payment on a GT3.

KC Daylighters are in the mail and gonna bring it up 4 inches with a high speed performance lift for those mountain roads. Im gonna turn it into a 4x4 Mountain road Baja truck. Jea. Perfect interior with buckets by the way.

hope you have a fair amount of cash set aside for repairs. b5 a4's are made out of glass practically. I used to own one, worst mistake ever. Off the top of my head i can name 3000+ dollars worth of common repairs needed for these puppies. Take it to a audi dealership for the inspection as well, so they know all the common problems and can spot them. just thought i would give you fair warning.

Its got 81k miles on it. And the inspection is for any of those common problems, ect. Any problems and I won't be making the purchase.

Its a '99 which from people who own b5's that I know, say it is the best model year of that generation.

the 99 being the best is not true, so just a heads up. They all have the same shitty heater cores/ timing belts/ water pumps/ control arms/ outer cv boots/ pvc systems/ vaccumm/ coils/ oil sludge/ low oil pressure and flooding problems.

Im not trying to stomp on your dream but i would feel bad if i didnt atleast warn you. Im a certified mechanic at the dealership and b5 a4's are fucking jackpots to me because no matter how well they are taken care off, i can sell shit on them.

Youre doing the right thing getting the puppy inspected but if its not at a dealership or audi indy shop, i can tell you with 100 percent confidence they will miss things and you will get fucked over.

True, If things start going down-hill I will just sell it to some other sad soul, It really only has to last me the winter. I'll be selling it in the spring and picking up a manual transmission vehicle then anyway.

The reason I'm not getting a manual now is that I want to be really good at handling a manual transmission before the winter, and I've missed it for this season...

stupid idea, just learn fast and practice for a weekend and youll be good. it took me a day to learn how to drive a stick and the learning curve once you get the basics down is fast. Something will probably break, most likely expensive, during the winter and youll have to resell and probably loose lots of money or fix it and loose lots of money

Young kids' obsessions with Audis is getting ridiculous. Why would you buy a '99 A4 with 81,000 miles on it? Buy something newer and more reliable with AWD and fewer miles for the same price. You don't need an Audi, you just want to look cool in front of the other kiddies in high school.

Cheap on insurance.
Awd.
I'm getting it for a killer price.

Nothing else with AWD in my area with less km's is cheaper, or less than insurance. Not even legacy wagon's.
