thanks man, thats a pic from the day i bought the car, going to change most of it up.

riding on stock d30 front and d44 rear, probably throwing in a tj rubicon d44 front unless i decide to spend a lot more money and throw jk d44 axles under there.

yeah I went through my d35 on first TJ and current TJ so I swapped in a d44 as soon as I went to 35's..ive got a few pics on page 62 of this thread

first jeep? I know a few guys with LJ's and they swear by them...they love the additional room and the longer wheelbase I dont think I've ever met a guy that regrets getting an LJ

I posted my WRX a few pages back.. So I'll post this.
I snagged this about a month ago (bone stock) to drive daily so I wasnt putting so many miles on my WRX. Just so happened that alot of the parts that I had laying around fit right on! haha! This was from Saturday at Timberline.

ya first jeep. my first car was a 2007 trd FJ cruiser, it was awesome and especially for a first car but i have always wanted a jeep so i sold the FJ for what i bought it for and got a crazy good deal on the Jeep plus it had mods so i couldnt turn it down. ya i cant imagine not having an LJ, the room is alright but heck of a lot better than a tj. you have to lift LJ's though, so ugly when they are stock. but i have some plans for the LJ, i want to run 37's but they are a bastard tire to run so im still trying to figure out the cheapest and yet effitient way to run them, most people say d44's arent enough and after d44 axles that stuff gets crazy expensive so i might stick to 35s haha.

Nice build thread looks like its off to a good start..I'm on JF but never got around to taking enough pictures of my build...the only thing I really took pictures of was my Monstaliner installation which I highly recommend if you dont have a liner in yet, plus the Monstaliner company gives awesome discount to JF members

Hows the 4.0 sound with the new exhaust? I'm definitely sticking with 35's...too many issues and too much $$ for me to go up to 37's haha

im probably going to repaint the whole jeep to a dark grey color so when i do that i plan to do some kind of liner, line-x or monstaliner.

right now the exhaust just sounds already, i cant really really because my engine is pretty loud with the cai. but the exhaust sounds almost to quiet so i went and looked at where the exhaust bolts to the headers and the bolts are really loose so i think some of the sound is escaping through there and my transmission light is on so i think that is the issue. but i turned the jeep on without the exhaust on it at all and revved it and oh my god it sounds so sick! makes me want to straight pipe it but oh well. ya i wish 37s didnt cause so many issues, they are like the perfect size and look so sick!

i just saw you have mtr's. great choice, thats the tires im about to buy. oh and by the way your jeep looks good.

this is why, if i am ever in the position to buy a gtr, i won't.

after a while it would be hard to be genuinely nice to all the kids that approach you about your car or when you walk out of the mall seeing kids that can't even drive, taking pictures of it with their phones. i'd just want to be left alone.

I'd like to see one as well.

Nice ride this Acura. Weight is the ultimate killer in most modern day cars in my opinion. Really like what he's done with the weight skimming.

Just looked at the projected price range for the Toyota FR-S and Subaru BR-Z. Kinda leaning towards the FR-S since the price isn't outrageous. Don't really care for how the rear looks. But the front looks good. And it's lightweight.

1997 chevy silverado 2500 4x4. rolled it onto its side a few weeks ago and she still drives like a beaut, some dents on the side though of course. that truck's been stolen, crashed, beaten on, driven by maniacs, and more and still is pretty damn reliable. pics when i get home from school

Ha my bay looks like shit man, it has a lot done to the motor. I just havent gotten around to do a wire tuck and make the engine bay all clean, which is next inline. I just finished up most ALL the interior and exteriors done!
