i hate how vdubbers hang their plates.. i know you dont want it on there but your state requires it, so just man up and center it so it looks normal and not hanging off the car and not centered!
the plate usually sits on the portion of the bumper that doesn't block airflow. moving it to block the vent to the brake cooling isn't helping any more. just center it and bend it so airflow is more directed to the lower opening.
then again, you dont see bagged vdubs driving hard enough to utilize a FMIC or brake cooling ducts.
not hating on the cars. i appreciate them all, whether they be slammed, stanced, stretched, aired, static, function over form, etc..
Not a great looking car or anything but its pretty big (2 people can sleep in the back pretty comfortable and if noone is sleeping in it you have a lot of place for stuff), its not too slow (hit the 200km/h once or twice) and it doesn't need too much gas which is pretty awesome with the prices here.
Overall, I am satisfied. Not the typical car for a young adult but it serves me right!
huh thats pretty cool i guess. in my region slammed gti's/golfs are the most common next to subarus and civics....to be different kids are bagging and boosting them till they explode it seems
Theres not too many here. The only lower ones are bagged. And if I had the same side skirts and front lip that GTI's ir R's come stock with, then I'd be inches from the ground ;)
haha I haven't been on JF in forever so I decided to make a little contribution. I have a slight e30 obsession right now having owned three of them in the past couple months so the jeep is barely getting any love.
Wow I sound retarded. But...you're not even low until your sway bar is scraping the drive axle or you are bottoming out your struts. What are you at? barely sub 23"? Lets go man get serious. For winter mode 23.5" all around will do, next spring thought...big plans...
just put my .:R up for sale, i actually hope that i dont sell it cause I love the car so much, but I just got married and bought a house so having some extra cash in my pocket wouldnt be a bad thing
i cannot express how lucky you are that you are not living/posting this for sale in vancouver..... well i mean not lucky for your bank account, but lucky for your not having at least one buyer haha
