mk4 was my first choice. Don't like the new, id build an mk1 though.
gotta dump that much for a dub, not cheap ( anything euro) i mean if it was a honda i'd throw an ebay turbo kit on it and blow it up and rebuild it for like a grand.
not when you have slicks and track it occasionally, it's different. that was the whole reasoning.
not hating at all, looks well done pretty clean, but you'd think if you built the engine you would have cleaned it up a bit and not made it look like a plate of spaghetti.
might be a long shot but since you have 518 in your sig maybe its not, pretty sure I saw you getting off the northway going into lake george village about a week and a half ago
nice mk4 but 450hp to the front wheels must torque steer like no other. Im in the toga region, dont think ive seen it yet. Ill be on the lookout to see it in person.
to the dude with the porsche, i was kidding about posting pics of your pops car. if you read the whole thing i wrote, youd realize i have a spot for porkers.
Picked this up brand new the other day. Total soccer moms car but I needed a new ride and I got an unbelievable deal. Fits all my shit in the back so I'm happy.
How do you like those duratracs? I've heard great things about them, I might have to look into them after I get rid of Mt/r's but I'm not sure if i could downgrade since I'm spoiled at how great these tires are...
What wheels did you go with? Time to get rid of that crap plastic bumper haha I've been looking into getting a rack for my LJ...yours looks great, is it smitty?
Finally installed my flat fenders..I freakin love them
They're not actual Duratracs; They're Kelly Safari TSRs...Practically the same tread pattern as the D-tracs but about $100 cheaper each (I also think they're made in the Goodyear factory)!
As for wheels I went with 16" Black Rock D-hole steelies. Super inexpensive and somewhat difficult to get balanced, but they hold up very well.
And yes, that POS bumper haha. As soon as I have enough money I'm tossing some steel ones on. Lastly, yep it's the smitty rack. It's not the highest quality out there; I had to use ratchet straps to pull some of the bars together while I bolted it down, but it's a couple hundred dollars cheaper than most other racks so I can't complain!
Around 26 mpg around the city. But I live in the Middle East and has is so cheap it really wasn't a factor in me purchasing the car. It costs me less than $20 to fill the tank from empty.
Ha. Yup, gas is about $0.20 litre here but I used to live in the UK where it was over $2.50. I have no idea where some countries get their prices, it's total bullshit.
