YES. I FINALLY found a pair of BBS AMG Aero II's for sale within driving distance. MY LIFE IS COMPLETE I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A SET OF THESE SINCE I BOUGHT MY CAR
ahha dude, you should have mentioned you were looking, there were like 4 or 5 sets being sold around vancouver over the past 6 months, i could have looked into them for you!
we should start some sort of thread regarding wheels/looking for stuff or something haha
Depends, is the S4 still running on it's stock turbos? The main problem I have seen with S4's once they get over 100k on the stock turbo one of the turbos tends to blow, and fixing it is a pain because of the location of the turbos. It requires you to pull the whole motor out to replace it so if you get a shop to do it you are looking at around $1500 (what my friend was quoted anyways). All around maintaining them is a bitch but I'm sure you know that going in. Super fun car to drive though.
Yeah I really need to get more info but I do believe they are still stock. fuck. Would I be better off trying to get a wrx with the same amount of miles instead?
I was in scottsdale this past weekend for the gooding and co auction. this 250 gt lwb california spider sold for 7.5 million plus the 10% bp. so more like 8.5 million after all is said and done.
high miles, dirt cheap. i havent owned a vehicle since may so it will be nice to get out of the work truck every now and then. might not have time to actually pick it up until the end of feb. though
I think a wrx would be a safer buy, and in general have a lot less mechanical issues and are much easier to work on. You still never know with a turbo car with that many miles how long the stock turbo will last.
haha dont worry, ive got my eyes on something else a little different. those are unreal though, solid find. do you mind if i ask how much you paid for them?
Hmmm decisions decisions, should I go for. 2008 Audi a4 with 100,000 miles or the 2008 subaru wrx with 130,000. What do you guys think this will just be my car for 2 years of light riding I will only put at most 20 thousand miles.
