I agree with you the GTI does look better, but I have to go 4 door and the GTI in 4 door is just slightly out out of my price range. I wish it was all wheel drive that would literally be amazing, apparently the exhaust on the 2013's sounds amazing stock.
After working at a country club for 4 years, golf carts have lost nearly all their fun. The only entertaining thing about them now is taking off the governor and drifting on the grass
The best my 2011 Xterra 6MT has gotten is just over 19mpg on a single tank during a 4000 mile roadtrip. For comparison's sake, other vehicle's I've owned that have made the same exact drive have gotten the following; 2001 Audi 1.8T Quattro 5MT got a high of 32mpg on a single tank, and 2006 WRX Limited sedan 5MT got a high of 25mpg on a single tank.
This is I-90 between Seattle and MN round trip with a few scenic detours. All drives took place in the summer for what its worth.
ya I feel you on the rust, every time I have to mess with any bolts underneath it I always end up having to cut one off.
if you do end up getting another jeep, swap out all bolts for grade 8 bolts, they are stronger and don't rust nearly as easy, which makes working on things much easier in the long run.
really hope they dont do that kia optima looking front bumper on that 4er. and the rear bumper is hideous. LED headlights are nice but the break from traditional angel eyes is going to be something hard to get use to.
i personally am looking forward to the 2er gran coupe.
I definitely know the feeling, personally id say stick with your stock wheels, theyre sick as is, and in my opinion, going for a cheaper aftermarket wheel to change up the look of your car is going to cheapen the look of your car. Id personally go spacer before new wheels, give it a more aggressive look, yet keep it clean and mostly OEM, and once you have the budget, assuming you want to drop around 1k for a set of wheels THEN id get new wheels.
That is just me though.
lower -> spacers -> wheels is my personal order to how i would switch things up on my car, but im also feeling that whole cant lower or else i cant get out of my driveway haha
ahh p40s are great wheels, well anything hre is for that matter, and they are actually a proven wheel company unlike rotiform who charge a shitload for designs that are ripoffs of others or just plain heavy
