I would like to buy a decent video camera for making some edits. Can anyone recommend me something on walmart.com or bestbuy.com that would suit my purpose well. I am new to video cameras and don't really know anything at all. I also am only look at ones that are afforadable, so nothing over 700, would really like it to be under 500. Thanks for any suggestions.
Get a VIO POV1, the camera is the tits. You can mount it any place you can think of, and get real unique shots, the quality is great , especially if you just looking to make edits for the interweb... it has the best white balance of any pov camera .. the firmware is upgradeable. the Files are movie maker friendly .AVI You can mount it on a tripod, or make a hand held mount and use it like a normal camera .... water proof ... dust proof, and near bomb proof .... diffrent lenses are available from thirdparty manufatures .. it has a remote, inline volume ... did i mention the camera is the tits.
the best part about a POV is that you dont have "set up" fot the shot.
You just look at what you want to film and press the remote.
cons ... I have killed the cable once .... jammed it in without lining up the pins, and near killed it last week when I cut the cable housing. and the camera has no zoom, or manual focus.
