2009 Armada JJ's

Quick question for someone who has riden or knows a lot about the new 2009 Armada JJ's (JP vs. Julien)

Out of all the reviews i have seen, they say it is a great all around ski for Backcountry and even Groomers. I was wondering whether....

1) Are they good to take in the park at all?

2) Good and light enough to do smooth spins easily?

and,

3) If it would be fine if i rode rails on them (basically would the shape of the ski and it's edges be bad for sliding rails)

I know the JJ's are pretty much meant for backcountry but i do like hitting up the park every once in a while and would like to know the answers to the following questions. If someone could get back to me on that it would be most appreciated and i thank you for taking the time to read and respond to this post.

well from my 2 days on them so far I can say that they really do rip on the groomers for a fat ski. As for rails, the edges are substantially smaller than most park skis(1.7vs2.5-3.5) so I'd imagine they'd get eaten up pretty quick compared to other edges. As for spins, I mounted mine +3 and on the little side jumps I was messing around on them the swing weight was amazing. The skis are very light for their size, also as a heads up the 185's actually measure 183

I would love to get these skis but they should have made another length. A 195 that measured 193 would have been soo dope for a rockered ski.

yeah I was kinda surprised when I got them. Im a big guy 6'2 220lbs and my park skis are 186. I figured because Im using these mostly in western NY and a couple trips out west it wouldn't be a huge deal with the rocker and the waist. But when I got em and they measured out 183 I was kinda contemplating on getting something else. But I skiied em in 5-8 inches of wny pow and they were heavenly

from what i have rode on them, they hold really well on groomers. They are super light and easy to spin. I would not take them in the park though, and definitely not rails, just dont want to damage them. Just use my park skis for park.

They are sick for jumps whether they be in the bc or in the park, I'd avoid the rails though
