Early Season Sessions on a half inch of snow

After the longest ass summer of my life i finally got to my hill for an early season rail session. We have about half an inch to an inch of snow here, but we managed. We took our longest rail and set in at the bottom of a little hill that leeds down to tar in the parking lot, and we managed a jump big enough to get on it. The run in wasn't that bad for a half an inch of snow, and although the landing was tar, my new soft Boots really helped me out. We sessioned that rail for hours before retiring, and it was just what i needed after such a long summer.
My question to you is, what do u do when u get ur first snowfall, wheather its a little or a lot, how do u manage?
I've found that even a little bit of skiing, even if its just one rail, does tons for someone who can't wait for winter to fully arrive, so get out a ski, and never say there is not enough snow!

At my mountain We skied the steepest trail twice and then had a small rail session.

i was sessioning my c rail.. it was pretty ill, but then the snow melted so now we cant do it ne more.

Yeah we still have ours but tomorrow and the rest of the week is spose to be in the 50's, so its almost all gonna melt..

we usually build a small jump at the bottom of the hill with a snow covered area for landing. we dont get much air, but it still is air and skiing.

mt baker is opening on thursday thats the 20th and i was up there 2 days earlyer when they had 20inchs and we built some sick keckers after hikeing for and hour and a half to get to the good spots now i can get to the same place in like 1 and a half minutes cuz the chairs will be running. owell it was worth it.
