Replying to Mounted my own skis....

So i go to my shop today(that i work at) and they let me mount my own sticks! Sick, i was pumped. Now i have never done it before on a pair of good skis, but i know how to do it. I get there and, looking at my skis, the bit needed is a 3.5/9.5.

Ok, cool. Easy as that. Buuuuttttt, they didnt have it. I decided to go with a 3.6/9. Closest one i could find without making the diameter/depth go waaayyyy too big.

So i drill them just fine and i go to mount them, and to my pleasant surprise, they screw in just fine! No bubble in the bases at all. Like a fucking champ. So pretty much, i am never paying for mounting again.

Any other experiences like this?

And btw, they are 07/08 Rossi Ghetto's and FKS 155's
