what is all this talk i hear about people not being able to ride switch on barons and dukes, is it just really difficult or something. What is the cause of this im confused??

its not that its more difficult to ride switch, its just the heel is held down by a plastic piece and ive heard that lots of people break the locking mechanism landing switch. so it should be fine for skiing switch, but if you are doing a bigger switch landing you run the chance of breaking them

they changed the center screw, shouldnt be a problem as of this year's bindings. they problem previously was that the pressure applied to the tracks while being ridden switch was being held back by a single screw and was being pulled out, but they reconfigured it so it's burlier now. If you have last year's dukes all you need to do is helicoil the center screw, it can pull out forcing into ski mode as well so be careful.
