So I've been talking with the doctor, over the summer I was having memory loss and trouble concentrating. Doctor said it's cause I've hit my head so much skiing, I've had 6 concussions, 2 of which were last season. I had an MRI and there's no significant damage to my brain, but he recomends that I take the year off from skiing competitively (so like jumps or anything) to let my brain heal fully. Otherwise I'll get more concussions more easily and the effects will be worse and so on. its a vicious cycle really. So now I'm sad but I can still go out and ski around on the hill, maybee if things are going good I'll get doing stuff by the end of the season but it's too early to say now. I was really hoping to get my 3420s perfected, haha just kidding. But really, it's dissapointing cause I had a really solid pipe run that I was super stoked on almost perfected. Injury is part of the sport though, first time I'm really having to deal with it, it's the most frustrating cause even know all my symptoms are gone, I feel perfectly fine but I can't do hardly anything.
Sorry about the rant, I just wanted to get that out there to the masses of NS haha
