Ski Size

I was wondering what size ski i should get if im 5'11 145 pounds  and been skiing consistantly for 2 years the ski im looking at has the options of 160 168 and 175 obviously the 160 being too small but what do you guys think?

175 fur sur, im about the same height and ive been on 174's for like 3 years. perfect size for me, wouldnt hurt to get a bigger ski tho

depends if its a park ski or all mountain/powder ski. i like park skis a little short, so you could go with the shorter one there. if it was for anything other than park i'd go 175

depends on your preferences, 168 might be a little squirly for someone whos 5'11" thought. happy first post

People on here tend to recommend skis that are way too long. The rule of thumb for advanced skiers is middle of forehead. If you've only been skiing for 2 years you might want to go a little shorter than that. Of course, if you are skill growing (you didn't give an age) you might want to go a little longer to grow into them. The best thing you could do is actually go to a shop, and look at all the different sizes, even if they don't have your specific ski. Look at anything similar, talk to the people at the shop, and have them figure out what is best for you.

go 175, i'm 5'10 and i have 178's, but then again i also weigh 25 lbs more.  I went from 160's to 178's and i'm happy i went big.

i rode 175's last year at 5 foot 7. you'll be fine at 175.

ya im still only 16 so hopefully will grow a bit more and i cant check local shops mainly cause there are none that carry any for of twintip skis so i have to buy online haha but thanks for everyons help though i also only really ride park cause where im from we dont really get any powder and im not much into groomers besides every now and then i might get to ride pow once a year so ya hahaha
