Im having a bit of trouble importing footage from my Canon HV20 to my Powerbook G4. I looked around google a little bit and i didn't really get a clear answer. The apples head cult takes forever to get a reply and i need something pretty quick. Im running mac osx 10.4.11.
I do not have iLife currently on my mac, but i have imovie. Should i get FCP?
Thanks guys

No...
I bought the Powerbook G4 over the summer and i knew it had outdated software and i would eventually upgrade once i got more money. just because the computer is older and doesn't have iLife 08 and leopard doesn't mean its a shitty computer. Macs are rediculously easy to work with and it STILL runs smooth after being used for 3-4 years. Still fast, still better than a PC.
