I used to have that exact same problem until like halfway last year. I'd always catch my edge and not be ablt to spin over switch 5. But now i can do switch 9's off 20 foot tables (wasnt any bigger tables at the end of the year). Here's just a list of things you can do.
1. Stagger your stance, it will be pretty fuckin hard to spin if your stance isnt staggered
2. Start carving on the lip, this little carve will turn your switch 3's into switch 7's.
3. Commit, just hold onto your spin and i bet you will get it around (i can go off and throw it like a switch 3 now and make it a switch 7)
good luck.
enter the jump low and when the lip is between your bindings pop start the spin and bring up ur knees up
for rails line the rail up between your skis then pop and turn you feet should land right over the rail.
just stretch out the tall tee and youll get it around
come in with cofidence, and make sure you at at the lip when you pop. if you dont have full cofinence in yourself or you will start spinning too early... and tip catchs are not good
