I recently tore my acl and im out for the season......Im usually an extremely active person and love getting that adrenaline while skiing. I picked up swimming since the tear but that shit sucks. I was wondering if anyone new of any ways i could get that same adrenaline without the use of my knee? and also some shit to do this winter to help pass the time?

Buy a ski chair like the parapalegic(sp?) guys. That seems pretty scary and should get you hyped

I know in Maine and probably other places there is a handicap skiing association and he could probably borrow/use one from there.

my friend who had to get his leg amputated learned how to ski with one leg. he was damn good at it too. (his poles were just a little different for better balance) haha your leg would get in the way since i mean it's not cut off but if you were desperate.. lol (i am not saying cut off your leg)
