Bluehouse first ride- Some concern

Alright so I have spent parts of 2 days on my new Bluehouse 179 Mr's. I have them mounted 1.25 cm back from center with Mojo 15's and they ski really well. Light, buttery, hold and edge and don't flop at all. I really like how they ski...

I hit the park on my first shot down the hill and rode a few rails during my time out there,
My concern is I have taken a few spills... and the edges around the top sheet already look like these skis are a year old, but the base and metal edges are doing awesome. How concerned do I need to be? I was hoping for a one ski quiver (75% park, 25% mountain) but should I get a park only ski and use these for whatever?

top sheet scratches and dings do not make our ski unskiable or weaker. all skis top sheets will get torn up to some extent and i don't think you should have any worries.

topsheet chips etc are nothing but cosmetic, if you cop some delam then that's another issue.

is there anything that will help with topsheet chipping besides the obvious of not hitting your skiis together ?  ive heard something about filing the corners round

You shouldn't worry at all, pretty soon you won't see as many new chips, then you can clean up the existing ones with a razorblade and maybe some sandpaper to smoothe them out.

I took mine out for the first time yesterday and loved them. I haven't had anything on the topsheet chip but then again I don't ski park. It won't affect the way it skis.

its somewhat dissapointing about topsheet issues with them saying they would do a better jon, and so far at least it sounds like its the same old problem

sandwich skis just get torn up man. thats y some sidewalls are beveled, it helps deflect the edge a bit. capped skis hide it better usually. its not a big deal tho, those parts of the ski are sacrificial, to protect the structural materials inside.

try dulling your edges a little bit or sanding the sides of the topsheet. both those will help reduce the damage done when you knock your edges on the top sheet.
