Replying to Brigade vs S3 bc

hi, this season i intend to ski 50% bc, 30% park and 20% pieste and have been deciding on skis for a while and have narrowed it down to last seasons rossignol brigades or this seasons rossignol s3 bc skis (which i can get for the same price).  if i go brigade i am getting a 178, 98mm underfoot. If i go s3 i am getting 180, 92mm underfoot. Having never skied a fat ski (have neen on trouble makers a few years) i dont really know what difference will be between the specs. The only other difference the specs as far as i can tell is that the s3 is wood core where as the brigade is THC core. Can any1 tell me how they think the skis differ on the mountain, and which would be more appropriate? cheers
