Whiteface to have a FULL park open friday!

thats right they will have a FULL park not just a few rails and a 10 foot table the most places have for opening day. They could have been open last week if they wanted to be, I was hiking the other day and the amount of snow is crazy, they have more snow on that trail then anywhere else on the mtn. they have all the overhead guns on the trail going around the clock for the last week and a half now. where the doubble line was last year they have 3 piles easy 30 feet high and all across the trail in a big circle. the top flat is littered with 10 foot whales. With the new rails and this support from managment whiteface is going to be the place to be this winter! Get there this friday

im sorry but i have never been satisfied with whiteface. its always super windy, icy, packed with people. The guy that runs the park is really cool however im sure its going to be a legit park. have funzz!!!

and thats exactly what happened today. we got there at like 9, it was sunny the WHOLE way up until wilmington. the mountain was all gray, filled with joeys, pretty icy, and windy.
the jump like was pretty legit, but i was expecting a few more jibs. and the flat down rail... a little sketchy.
we ended up leaving and going back to gore at 1ish. it was bluebird, about 30, and had some nice soft bump runs. andd my friend got a concussion / fucked up his hand and face on the 2nd jump.
