TERRAIN PARK RETURNS TO LAKE LOUISE
LAKE LOUISE, AB - The Lake Louise Ski Area is pleased to announce that
the Terrain Park will be returning to the slopes of Lake Louise for the
2008-09 winter season.
"One of the first things that new owner Charlie Locke wanted
to implement when he took over majority interest in Lake Louise was the
re-emergence of the Terrain Park," confirms Lake Louise Marketing
Director, John Ross. "Due to liability issues, it won't be as extreme
as it was in some previous years, but it will still be an excellent
place to go have fun and practice your skills. Our goal is to have the
Terrain Park back in action just as soon as possible."
When complete, the new Terrain Park will feature about 15 different
rails with 5 or 6 moderate jumps. All participants using the Terrain
Park will be required to sign a liability waiver and pay a $5.00
registration fee, which will then be reimbursed to the customer via a
$5 F&B coupon.
The entrance to the Terrain Park will monitored by Lake Louise
staff and will be located in the usual location, just below Glacier
Chair on the lower slopes on the front side. As of today, work on the
Terrain Park has already begun as we currently have two rails on the
Easy Street run.
