its a sweet car, and it probably does amazing in snow, but he wants something tough, with that thing you hit a pothole and you have a bent rip, you gotta watch out for the bumpers and sideskirts cause they are so low.
what he needs is something like i said an older audi or outback, cause both are tough as shit, and another car to add, a 325ix. its such an awesome car, its an e30 3 series with awd, almost suv ground clearance, tougher than any audi or subaru, and performs better on snow too. there was a test with the ix against an audi and a subaru i think and it outperformed them both on everything in snow. they designed the awd to match perfectly with the weight distribution under acceleration, rather than when stopped. so it gets the most traction possible under acceleration, where with a subaru or audi, the to torque split is somewhere around 50/50 so under acceleration, the tires arent getting the best possible traction. plus theres nothing cooler to see than some old beemer beating audis and subaru's in the snow.
