I'm 6'2" - 175lbs and I'll b needing new skis soon. Would the 182 salomon foils b any good for me. Iv'e heard mixed reviews so someone tell me whats up.
hey man, i had a pair in the 174's and they were great skis, easy to turn, handle pretty much anything i threw at them. but when you really tried to push them at high speeds on hard stuff they would get a little chattery but other than that i loved them

i fucking love these skis. they are super light. pretty much the perfect flex, soft enough to butter, stiff enough to not wash out on you when you land, and to hold a good edge. as said, in the harder snow when you carve going really fast they chatter some, but its possible to deal with. on softer groomers they fucking rip. and honestly for an 87 waist ski, they float in the pow pretty well too, if they are your only ski. just dont mount them center, i see so many kids do that, and idk why they do
I didn't relize they had an 87mm waist and that would be nice for those rare EC powder days. I don't ride that much steep stuff unless there is a nice NJ booter so those sound perfect. Thanks.
