Here's the deal on contests this season here at West Mountain:
West Mountain and The Sports Page are hosting the 2009 Ski and Snowboard Freeride Series on Friday nights. Sponsors for the events include Under Armour, Smith Optics, Nordica Skis, Rossignol Snowboards, West Mountain and the Sports Page.
January 16th is the Smith Rail Jam
February 6th is the Under Armour Big Air
February 20th is the Nordica Skis/Rossignol Snowboards Slopestyle
The amount of prizes to be given out at each event is off the charts and everyone will be pumped about entering. I will soon be posting the info on how the series will work and how each event counts towards the overall event series winners. Entry Fee will be $10 and special lift ticket prices for competitors will be available. The contests start at 7pm and sign ups begin at 4pm. More events for March will also be posted soon.
