The scammer on Craigslist poses to be a pastor either on a mission to Africa or already in Africa and asks you to look after the house, or the wife of a pastor in Africa and in any variation of the story asks you to wire the money to him. Yes. To Africa.
The posting itself looks legit, fully furnished, satelite tv, etc. etc. but once you wire the money to him you won't ever hear from he (or she) every again. So just keep a lookout for offers that are too good to be true, sadly in the world we live in today a very good deal usually ends up being false or a scam.
Especially at this time when everyone's looking for accommodation in whistler people might not think twice so just BE AWARE PEOPLE.
