hey i am starting to film and i was wondering what camera i should look at and what price range?

alright you have to set the price range. Anyone on here can recommend a camera. It just depends on the price range. I can say get a DVX100 or a HPX170 or a Panasonic Gs-320...Each in different price ranges. We need you to set one before we can advise you

search "camera" and you will find about 100 threads asking your exact same question.

under $1000 HV30
between $1500-$3,000 Used Fx1, DVX100, VX200, XHA1
over $4,000 you shouldn't have to ask if you're spending that much.

Canon Hv30 - former camcorder of the year and simple to use and get quality shots with. No doubt your best bet. should be around 800$ or less.
