if paid properly, ill do a mount and adjust within 20 minutes (it only takes like 5, but i like to be thorough). bring beer, that always speeds me up.

Shops where I am, generally get you to pick your skis up a week after you buy them. It doesn't take a week to mount skis. It just depends on how backed up they are. How many skis they're selling, and how many tunes they're doing. If you tell them you need them by tomorrow morning, they should be able to do it. Or just tell them to do it while you're there, you'll wait... just make them do it, you're buying skis off them. If everyone else is already waiting a week, they should be able to get yours done right away

What shop are you taking them to? If it's Willi's, good luck. There's a lot of stuff in line to be done before you. The turn-around time for a pair of skis is usually 1-2 weeks at this time. Bribes always help.

i wish we were that backed up, we're turning everything around in two days. business is just too slow. 4 techs there almost full time does speed things up a bit tho.

you gotta ask the people your getting it mounted from that question. I would guess if there busy they can hold them for a few days, if not it can be done in 25 min

Iv always had my skis mounted right when I bought em from the shop even if they're backed up. Just tell them you wanna ski em tomorrow or your going on a ski trip or something, if that doesn't work tell em you won't buy the skis.
