Hi, i m england and was born in jersey in the channel islands but i moved to switzerland when i was four and grew up in a boarding school in the alps minutes away from a ski lift, i did a year a uni at leedsmet and as much fun as i was having i didnt really like the uk, just felt like there was too much concret and not enough snow. Basically the point to my message here is that i m going off to Serbia after new year and heading to a place called Kapaonik, two course meal is 3 pounds and a beer is 50p, i ll be ther until the end of the season, if anyone wants to meet up and plan any kind of road trip around serbia this winter or just wants to come over and see whats its like please let me know because i m looking for people to ride with out there...
We would have to talk about your skiing capabilities to make sure we re all on the same level or close enough...

Wow that sounds like an awesome place to try skiing. I'm a Brit born and raised and studying at Leeds Uni! But I'm in Japan for the year. If it's not too pricey then I would love to hop over the water to Russia for a quick ski. I'm probably not as good a skier as you, but I can still hold my own. I used to compete in Moguls but now just love anything I can get.

Sounds like any awesome opportunity, if only you were doing it in the 09/10 season when I officially become a ski bum. Let us know how it is as I'd like to go one day.
