Replying to Do you like beer?
Thought i would pass on a few clever beer drinking techniques that i've learned over the years to my fellow NSers. intended for those who are of age (wink wink).
for cans: shotgunning is classic. we all know how it works, how it's done, and the amazing drunk it delivers. however, give the elbow a shot if you haven't. elbowing is the easiest way to get lots of beer out of the can besides the shotgun. it's quite simple. crack open your favorite beer (i would recommend something fairly light), make sure to place the can on a sturdy surface, and check for dents. the can needs to be solid to work without making a mess all over and a fool out of yourself. once the can is confirmed to be dent and defection free, elbow it just like the name implies. fold your upper arm to expose a nice elbow, place on top of the open can, and press down with your elbow until the top of the can cracks. this crack allows air in, and makes drinking out of a can as easy as drinking out of a glass.
for bottles: bottle rocketing is what i call it, but it goes by a few different names. it is also an extremely simple and effective procedure. get your favorite chugging beer (like before, light beer is better) and open the cap. grab a straw that can bend towards the top, and pull it so the bendy part stretches out as far as it can. bend the short end over the mouth of the bottle while the long part remains inside the bottle. be careful not to kink it closed, you want it open. next, grip the bottle by the top, holding the short end of the bendy straw so it points down the bottle. once you are ready, start chugging. the straw lets air into the bottle so beer literally drops out of it rather than glugging out. great party trick.
kegs: equally as simple as the above methods. the keg stand rules supreme. as simple as that. if you don't know what a keg stand is, you shouldn't have the joy of drinking out of kegs.
kinda random post, but just thought i would share. i know NS likes beer and so do i, so just some fun techniques. feel free to post your own if you have something clever, we all want to learn. straight edgers need not apply.
