I have been thinking about this for a while, and i just wanted to know if anyone has gotten a tattoo while they are still under 18 (parents permission or not) and if they think they made the right decision

I got a tattoo when I was 16 my mom signed for it, its a clover on my ribs a bunch of us in my family got when my grandpa died cause he was Irish. Then I just turned 18 two weeks ago and got the tree of life on the back of my arm. And to answer your question I think it really comes down to what they mean to you and how well thought out and how well they are done. I have had absolutely no regrets with mine because they symbolize important occourences in my life and make me realize there is no going back on anything.

im 16 and got mine in like may and i love it
its weird tho i just forget i have it most of the time and its a big cross on my side

im 16 and im getting mine as soon as i have 200 bucks, its a qoute that wraps around my forearm that describes my life, it means the world to me

I got my tatoo right when i turned 18 with my best friend and its the big dipper with forget-me-not flowers instead of stars because I love Alaksa! And i don't regret it at all!!!

i got 2 while i was 19, another 1 while i was 20. Now i'm 21 and i'll be making an appt for my next one next week....I love them, wouldn't take back the decision ever. gotten so many compliments on them and i just love them

i got one on my calf... i hate it and want it to go away. I'm too embarassed to say what it is... but at least it's far enough up on my leg that people can only see about 1/8th of it when im wearing shorts

I got one as soon as i turned 18 and i dont regret it...acually i love it

if you really want it then go for it..just get it in a spot that you can easly cover up so if you ever dont want anybody to see it they dont have to. i got it on my upper arm / shoulder area for that reason. you cant see it when i have short sheeves on.
