K2 Ak Maidens

Has anyone got the word on these skis yet? When will they be out? What lenghths and how fat? Heard from a friend that they will be really fat. Hope they have that same guy draw up the topsheet for the maidens that did the PEs and SPs.

Abma mentioned them in his interview in the newest Freeskier. but the Kahunas were originally named the Madiens and then got changed to the Kahunas so the interview is just a couple months old. i believe the kahunas only come in 189 and they are 108 underfoot (wider than any other ski on the market currently except the spatula).

the maidens are already out super soft great if you are only gonna be skiing untracked powder, but otherwise they should be stiffer, like all k2's

Kahunas/Maidens have same sidecut as PIstols, 14mm. SO Kahunas are 138/108/128mm.

The Made'Ns have a sidecut of 10, not 14. I've been skiing it everywhere mounted five forward, you just have to swing it a little faster in bumps.

some guy at my mountain had them, and his friend was standing next to him with pistols, and they looked like fucking twigs compared to the ak's...the brakes he had didnt even fit...i dont think any brake would fit...it was crazy
