I'm a beginner new schooler, but I've been skiing for a long ass time. I'm trying to decide between some 169 Dorians, or some Pow Air Grinds, I want the Pow Airs cause of the grind plate. Any help for me out there

get the dorians. The 1080s are really nice and the grinds are fast on rails and the grind plate won't carve better than a dulled down edge. plus yuo're gonna slide off rails at the start so your whole edge top to bottom is gonna be dulled.

the dorians are the nicest looking and best performing 1080's until the '03 models...definately get those (they're pretty cheap right now too, we were selling them for 450 cdn)

dude, i had the pow air grinds, and they are a good ski, but the grind plates start to come off and they cant turn that well. they also delaminate really easily. go with some candides or some dorians. way better deal
