Ok I'm doing a big work at school about freeski (20 pages). I need some of you guys to help me so if you could just answer to those question it would help me a lot!
1) Do you consider that there is a lot of pressure in this sport (I mean to be as good as the other riders)?
2)Is the fact that skiing in group influence the sport?
3)how important is the injury risk?
4)What physical aptitude do you need to pratice freesking?
5)Is the sport becoming a socialization place?
6)Can we stereotype the freeskiers?
There is no wrong answer, I just need a bunch of opinion from a bunch of people
thanks

1) Do you consider that there is a lot of pressure in this sport (I mean to be as good as the other riders)?
yes, but it's mostly on the internet. when people ride with each other, they are usually just trying to have a good time, not criticizing each other like they do on freeskiing websites.
2)Is the fact that skiing in group influence the sport?
this question doesn't make any sense.
3)how important is the injury risk?
more head injuries occur from tobogganing than from skiing. the risk of injuring yourself in freeskiing is less important than the risk of not enjoying the sport.
4)What physical aptitude do you need to practice freesking?
not much, there are plenty of obese people who can freeski, although park skiing would probably be a lot more difficult if you weren't as physically fit as you should be.
5)Is the sport becoming a socialization place?
if you mean that freeskiers socialize with each other, then yes. the entire sport is founded on social fundamentals, from discussing boot fits, to a chat about the last line you slayed.
6)Can we stereotype the freeskiers?
yes, but it is hard. there are people from all cultures and races that are freeskiers, and of those people we are very diverse in our lifestyles as well.

1. i dont know about pro's, but i dont feel pressure, only desire to be better.
2. its unclear to me what youre asking, but skiing with my friends is the best part.
3. injury risk is more important to me now after i tore my acl, but not as much with injuries that didnt require surgery or a super long recovery time. ive broken both collar bones skiing and that wasnt too big of a deal.
4. you definitely need to be in shape. you will be less prone to injury and you can perform better obviously.
5. like i said before, i love skiing with my friends. skiing alone is depressing as hell now.
6. people like to follow trends
