Any one see the huge smoke clouds? I live in Corona which is a few miles away from the Yorba Linda fire.

Lets just say I didn't sleep last night or today. Last night the flames were being driven hard and fast towards my house. I was ready to wake up the whole block and get the hell out if I had to, cause the winds were nuts (over 70mph gusts and 30 sustained at least). Luckily the winds shifted and started pushing it ever so slightly away from me and it stalled along the ridge. The helicopters were passing directly over my house all day today, since we have water tanks on the hills next to me. So at the moment I am ok, but now my sister's home is in big danger with flames coming awful fast and close to her place. Driving home just now was a sight seeing tour of big flames.
Hope everyone stays safe and none of your homes are in danger. Take care all affected.

My cousins live right by the mission in Santa Barbara and I guess the fire that started in Montecito was right on the other side of the hill and they had to evacuate, scary stuff. They said all the sitrens in twon were going off, sounds crazy.

The funny thing is all the houses that burnt down will be rebuilt so they can burn down in another 5 years when the brush grows back.
