alright soo im from the midwest which mean yes im a park rat.im in minnesota and my brother is in nd. and he gave me a call today asking if i wanted to go out there sometime. so my quetion is where is the closest place.(shortest distance) to out west with a nice park and some nice back country.(of course nice back country to me is like a foot of powder) hows jackson hole? also any simular distance to colorado? let me kno

That's what I did. Moved from Minnesota and riding Mt. Kato, Wild Mountain, Buck Hill, Hyland, ect. to living at Mammoth.
When I was still in MN though, i took trips to a few diff places out west. Jackson was pretty fun. I'd recommend checking out some resorts in utah. only a bit farther than co resorts and better variety. or just come to Mammoth and get everything you want in one mountain.
