Is there really a difference??

ok well im 5'11" and right now im on 181's and i love em would i notice any difference if i got a ski with a length of 184??? would it be harder for me to control or anything?

that shouldn't be a problem at all, once upon a time I went from 158's to 180's.

i dont think it would really create a problem either but im wondering opinions and whether or not there will be any difference at all

i don't think you would notice any difference, if they did feel different it would be that it would take sightly more effort to turn, but even if you did notice that you would probably be used to it by the second run.

It depends on the company more than the length if that tiny difference is all there is. Some companies run shorter, some longer.

I have some old 174 PEs, and some 178 Invaders, and they both feel like pretty much the same length, but they are mounted really differently. PEs really far back and invaders centered.

You shouldn't really feel it that much. You'll feel the other factors of the ski more probably.

thats what my first thought was is that it make be slightly harder to turn and i no i would get used to it......anyone else with an opinion shoot it out

You'll be fine man.  I was 5'11 and about 175 when I went from using 171 Solly park skis as my everyday ski to 185 Rossi Scratch BCs and I'm so happy with the turnout.  3 cm will be nothing at all for you.  Don't let it phase you.  Besides, sometimes you have to try things for yourself, and the worst case senario is that you resell em on here.  Go for it!

find a metric ruler and measure out 3 cm's, you'll realize it's really nothing

also depends on which skis you are going from/to and the mounting but as already said, 3cm is a bees dick of difference

That won't make a difference but the sidecut, flex, and mounting position will.

well i am considering getting last years scott p3s in the 184 and i was riding 181 ar6's that were centre mounted and i would centre mount the p3s if i got them and i was also thinking bout this years invaders but just way the the invaders have been in past years i didnt give them much of a thought
