I think I might be moving there in April. What areas are the best place to live? Is it expensive? Is it easy to find work? What's the bud like? thanks for your help.

Oh, there you are.

Summit and Boulder will be on the pricey side of course. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'd say that the lowest rent average in Summit is like $500-600. There are a few places you could find for $400, if you look hard enough in the early season. If you want to work on the mountain (Vail Resorts) hit up www.skijob1.com. They have TONS of jobs on there. Also, just check out each mountains website. They always seem to have a "Careers" link on the bottom of the page somewhere.

If you've got that much, look up in the wellington/royal tiger roads/areas of breck. Or in Siverthorne.

500-600 will get you a room in someones home.  a 1bd of your own will run like 1000-1200/
