When I graduated College I got a sick job, which is exciting, challenging, and progressive not to mention pays really well. THEN I BOUGHT A SNOWMOBILE. You just have to know what you wanna do with your hustle. If you want to fucking move into the 'burbs and give up. Good For you. But i'm telling you, the next step in my progression as a skier has come b/c of my job. Graduating College is sorta like making that really long hike up the top of a ridgeline. WHen you get to the top. there are lots of options for you to take, point your skis and go.
I think you have life after college confused with life after having children.
I've been done with college for a while now and my life is nothing like you described. Actually, the only difference between before and after is I don't have homework and I actually have money. (unlike when I was in college)
Well, my Dad started out working for something he didn't like doing. Yes, he makes good pay, but he is not happy with his job. Even if I don't make that much money, I will always be happy. Plus I'm in a Ski Resort Operation and Management program and I have a work term for my 4th semester, where the instructors help us get a job at a resort. I'm currently looking at snowmaking/ grooming operations. So I won't be at a desk all day.
