the liner in the kaos is cheaper. you get a tighter fit with pro. Also this years the pro are 110 flex and kaos is 100 i believe. Last year they were both 95

true. last year they were the same boot, the pro just had leather on it. this year the pro is stiffer. a 110 flex seems real high for park. 90 is pretty good for park unless you are packing on the pounds, which i am not

so basically what you guys are saying is that 110 flex is to much for park especially if you are on the lighter side such as a guy like me weighing only 140 should get a kaos boot?

Depends on how my control and response you want over your skis. I'm 195lbs and I think that 120 is still a bit softer than I would like for everything, but I use the same boots everywhere, and don't want to compromise freeriding support for flex in the park.
My guess is that you won't notice much of a difference. Pardon my ignorance, but are the lasts the same? I would imagine they are, but if they aren't get the one that fits better.

the lasts are both 106mm. but from reading the posts above i guess the pro model has a more precise fit than the kaos because of the higher end liner.

ya the pros are a bit stiffer but they are also a bit heavier then the kaos. I just got the kaos boot and i'm super happy with them. I'd say go with the one that feels better to you.

i also just read that the flex rivets can be removed to soften the boot. does this really work?
