Beat Making For Macs

I am looking for a program that will work on my mac to make beats and music. Something similar to fruity loops, and better than garageband. Or if there is a way to get fruity loops for mac. if anyone has any ideas holler atcher boie.

I use Logic Express. I used fruity loops when i was on PC but i found i reached my limit on what i could do with it and needed to move on to something that was oriented more around recording.
