the brakes on them suck... bending them, the difficulty of replacing them, the price of replacing them. they suck.
that being said, they are great bindings and are totally worth any hassles!
im glad i made the effort to hunt down some fks for both my pairs of skis this season
That's because you didn't bend it properly. Even with 80cm wide skis you need to take them apart and bend them like fat skis. I bet you have skis that are about 80cm, and you just bent them by mounting them and pulling them out at an angle. This is NOT GOOD. I had a pair of skis a while ago I did this with, thinking it would be ok. But since the brakes need to stick out to clear the ski, when you land switch (which lifts the heel with a lot of pressure, lowering the brakes slightly) on edge, the bindings will catch and you will fall. This hurts on big jumps. I have personal experience. You need to bend them properly so the brakes are perfectly facing backwards, you can even go slightly at an inward angle for extra protection. Straight back usually good though.
Moral: Take them apart and bend properly on any skis 80cm underfoot and bigger.
