CAMARILLO, Calif. (AP) - The
latest Lundberg Survey finds the
average national price of gasoline
rose nearly 12 cents in the past
three weeks. That marks the first
price hike after six months of
steady decreases.
The average price of regular
gasoline Friday was $1.78 a
gallon. The price of mid-grade was
$1.91 a gallon and the price of
premium was $2.02 a gallon.
The increase was the first since
July 11, when the average national
price peaked at $4.11 a gallon.
Of cities surveyed, the nation's
lowest price was $1.34 in
Billings, Mont.
The highest price was $2.32 in
Anchorage.
Juneau, where the price is higher
than Anchorage is not included in
the survey.
I love how our capital fucking city wasn't considered in their surveys. We've been stable at 2.59 at a couple stations, 2.89 everywhere else for the past month. Never went below it though..
jea. a tower just fell from where our electricity originates forcing us to run on diesel for possible the next 6 months. jea ready to spend a shit ton of money.
it sounded more like a week or so. it just depends on when the weather clears so they can get the chopper down there. maybe we can cut our towns energy consumption by 30% like last time. at least diesel is a dollar cheaper now. I heard some guy on the phone at the library last night order 20,000 gallons of diesel. wtf would you do with 20,000 gallons of diesel?
