Replying to Magnet Plate in skis?

I just herd of this, has anyone ever done it themselves? Im not saying I am agreeing with it, but as every sport grows equipment evolution becomes questionable and debatable. Grade school science we found out positives attract negatives and vice versa, and + rejects +, as - rejects -. You could use those forces in the ski center to lock you on, and stay locked, with rejected forces forbidding you to wonder abouts on the rail. This could mean much more control, much more technical shit.

This idea just came into my head today, possibly a future? There is no set of regulations to prevent it from happening besides competition rules that would become effective. And then, the image aspect, what will NS think of skier X rocking this while no one else is. Love it or hate it.
