Bibbys Vs Bents Vs Ep Pro

First off, i dont tend to say this, but in regards to ep pro versus hellbent please search bar, and can't give much of a recomendation if you don't put any info on your type of skiing, size, where you ski, etc..

already did a search bar for any thing with the bibbys not much came up, I'm looking to ski pow/cliffs/pillows/trees skiing in Col this winter, 6 feet, 170lbs

Flexed Bibbys in the shop the other day and they stiffer than the other 2.  Looks like great skis though, real solid.

I have had a few friends that rode the bents and loved them.. the only complaint that I have heard is they are a little heavy. As for the Bibby's and Ep's I've only flexed them in a shop and have not had a chance to get on them so I'm not much help there.

How ever you should also consider the Surface Live Life or Live Life 2's. I've had a chance to rid on their skis for the last two seasons and they are amazing.

The Live Life's come in a 179 and 189 with an early-rise in the tip, and a stiffer construction so you can mob anything and they will hold up well through it. Crush big lines, drop big cliffs, ect.

The Live Life 2's also come in a 179 and 189 but have a 3 stage rocker and are a softer more playful version of the Live Life's. This ski is going to do really well in deep snow, pillow lines, bc booters, ect.

The dimensions both the 179/189's are 140/112/132.

Plus Surface skis are bomber I have beat the shit out of them and they still hold up really well. They also offer great customer service, and if you ever need to warranty your skis, they get everything done in a timely manner and are there to help.


Its definitely worth giving them a look..

I would say that bibby's are the most versatile ski of the three, i have each one of them, and they each have their pro's and con's although i would say the bibby's dont really have any cons. if you would like to know more about each ski PM me

What does your quiver look like? Are you just skiing in colorado or are you vacationing there? How stiff do you like your skis?

Pretty general, but that should give you a decent idea. From what I can tell you probably dont have a pow ski and the EPs dont fare as well for your late afternoon sunbaked chopped resort pow. Either way they are all great choices. Ive only ridden/owned the EPs and I love mine to death. So much fun~

They aren't horrible in the moguls, though.

Hellbents don't do so well on ice, that's for sure.

I say EP or you could try the new Bent-chetlers, they look so sick.

thats because they were design for cattracks and traverses.  and nothing else.

the bibbys will be the most versatile. the ep pros will be the least.

eps - super buttery. slashing around, jibbing, but dont expect to remotely charge on them

bents - again soft, but not noodles like the eps. super rockered, you can charge a little better on them, but again not amazingly (none of these skis will charge very well). heavy though. slightly fatter than the bibby

bibbys - a little stiffer but still a soft jib ski. lighter than bents for sure. a little narrower. probably the most versatile of the three. though the bents wouldnt be bad either.


based on your height and weight unless you like super buttery skis i would go bibbys or bents. from there demo.

Alright well i'm 5.11 and 150lb and i have rode all these skis that your looking at and well i would say bibbys

Hellbents: There fun super heavy and massive rocker you can ride them anywhere but i found they were to heavy

Ep pros: I own a pair funnest ski ever for pow but off pow there just for shits and jiggels just buttering around but for pow there the funnest ski ever for it

Bibby's: There like the best of both i would say not massively rockered but its there for pow not to flexible so they can hold up the best on groomers there a little skinnery to then both of them

Oh no I agree, that was too broad of a statement EPs, they are very fun everywhere. I just meant to say that the EPs were built for powder only~
