Maybe it's my complete lack of knowledge on how two quote multiple people in one quote, but I'm 99% sure you read what i said wrong. The part in quotes was said prior to whatever I actually "Quote Reply'd" and i was pointing out that someone HAD mentioned that atmosphere is two people. I then went on to say that I thought it didnt matter, it doesnt change much really.

when life gives you lemons, you paint that shit gold.... isnt nearly as good as any of there older albums.  i have every one of there albums and when life gives you lemons gets listened to very rarely.

Atmosphere has such a wide variety of music and it's almost all good, both Ant and Slug are incredibly talented. Not gonna lie, favorite album from them has to go to "You Can't Imagine How Much Fun We're Having". Pretty much every track is a banger.

Makes more sense when you say it like that, but that being said, a lot of music sounds incredibly dope while tripping. Not knocking Atmosphere, and I'm sure you had a kickass time, but...

oh, i know a lot of music is amazing.... but especially paint that shit gold, and strictly leakage... those albums rule, it's like listening to a crazy book with really wild music in the background.... i dunno how to explain exactly, but just listen sometime and you'll see.

I know exactly what you are saying.  I was listening to DL Incognito while peaking on mushrooms and riding the tram to the top of big sky with a foot of fresh.  Revolutionary doesn't even scratch the surface.

;now that sounds like a good ol time!! looking at beautiful scenery like a lake/ocean/sunset/sailboats/city/mountains makes everything soooo much more epic.

what is the point letting everyone know that they are pretty good? lots of groups are mediocre, but they do not get mentioned. it should be the exact same way with slug. all of your ride his dick so hard! if you like hearing his stories, you should read a book. try out some kerouac, ginsberg, burroughs for a similar style. and saying that he is the most profound lyricist you have ever heard because you were geekin out on shrooms is of absolutely no consequence whatsoever. anything you listen to on shrooms will sound amazing. and it is fine for him to sell out and get popular because that's the only way to make money, but that's when kids who know what's really up should jump off the bandwagon. and i am not saying that because i want to stay underground b/c that whole argument is bullshit in the first place. but claiming he is this lyrical god is completely fallacious. period.

well back on track about the album... i don't think it is as good as overcast or god loves ugly it is different in a good way. its a bit less fast and angry and more slow and melancholy. overall i'd give it a 7.5/10.

now for one of my favorites off this album.
