Anyone else this thing was blown way out of proportion? It's only got 35 minutes of skiing, the music blew, half of the peoples segments sucked balls, half of Pep's seg was from Volume 9 and magazines, and it just didn't get me as excited to ski as Forward did. Now flame away, but this is my opinion.

I liked Tanner and Olsons edited parts in the bonus section better than their actual parts in the movie. JF Cussons extra stuff in the bonus section was pretty funny too.

i thought that 1242 was a sick movie but definitely not the best movie to date. mikeals section was pretty sick, regardless of how 'small' it was. morrisons section was a let down but oh well, hes still sick as hell whether or not poor boyz got footage of him. also i do agree that people are being really hyped up over 1242 when they havent even seen it. i could be wrong but did i see a '1242 our afterbang' thread by someone who hasnt seen it yet?

JibbaJabba,
I'm not bitter about your opinion of 1242, but let's clear one thing up. Volume video mag is a partner of poorboyz. I allowed Steve Rozendal to join us on the big trip to europe this season. He's my friend and I want volume to make it as a company because they're good for the sport. Another words, Peps segment in volume came mostly from PBP shoots not the other way around. Also Josh berman has tons of exclusive footage that came from PBP shoots as well. Why? Because I'm in this business to show how rad skiing is. I shared some riders with Josh and it was going to help him out a ton if he could film with us. And in return Josh traded me couple of rails. Have a good winter.

i have a question for y'all. i went to the forward premiere, and really liked it (obviously). thing is, i just got RFA for my birthday, and heard that most of the footy in RFA is the same as in forward. should i return RFA and get session 1242 instead, or should i keep RFA?

'I heard that Richard Gere gerbils. That is, he inserts gerbils into a paper towel tube, which he then sticks up his butthole. I don't doubt this, because he asked me if i wanted to come over to his house and gerbil. I insisted that he come over to MY house, since the whole thing seemed weird. As a practical joke, i attached a bucket of water to the top of the door so that when he opened it, I beat him with a mannequin leg.'-Skydaddy

^^^ Yeah defintly keep it, its a COMPLETELY DIFFRENT movie. There is only a couple same shots, but that is only about a couple mins of fottage at the most. IF you can afford to get RFA and sesion 1242, then keep rfa, but if you cant then i would try to get session 1242 instead. Just my opinion. Ready fire aim is really well done and i am, hereing really good things about session 1242.

Ok...RFA was sick! All the not-so superstar skiiers stepping' sh*t up. I was soo amped for 1242 and expected it to kill RFA. It didn't. It was no doubt a sick movie but nowhere near as sick as expected. Seth's part was almost non-existant....Pep was sick, Kristi hands down defeated Sarah's RFA seg, but that's it....Jon and Tanner were impressive but nothing spectacular...RFA and 1242 are kindof like a package, if you watch 1 and then other it's like one movie on 2 dvd's........

haven't seen 1242 yet but my brother's buying it at the montreal premier tomorrow, so i'm super stoked on that. rfa i bought and it's wicked. forward is also insane, especially since it isn't the huge name people. and it's really true about people with short segs. ya some wicked riders that you wanna see have short segs, but that's cause they don't film a lot. the filmers for the companies have to keep up with a LOT of riders and it's hard when they go to step it up to always be there. also, it's cool sometimes to just go have sessions for the fun of it. never blame short seggies on the filmers or producers or watever.

yeah well i decided to keep RFA. awesome movie, the editing was different, but incredible. as well, yeah theres a noticible amount of the same footage as in forward, but who cares because it is sick footy anyways. good job poor boyz, awesome movie you got out there.
