Not quite sure what difference lifters make. I know you can take them off and grind down the screws/get new screws but i want to know how they work. ++karma for help

lifters are mostly for race. they raise your center of grabity so you can turn sharper, your turns are easyer to iniciate and you have more room for your boots not to touch the snow when turning on a dime. mostly they make your skis more responsive to turns when you carve. for park theyre not usefull since its rare that you ever need to turn sharply ( getting your speed) it does take away balance and you want your skis to be as light as possible so for the little to no advantages they give in park its not worth the extra weight. leave it for the racers!
