Locking Threads?

Do you think we can make it an option for a mod to lock a thread that gets stickied?  I was on DVXuser.com, and some of their stickied threads are locked to prevent cluttering, useless posts.  Mods in the forums and leaders in cults could have this...

Anyone agree?  Good idea or bad?

As far as i know NS doesn't have the facility to do that, merge threads etc - unlike some other Vbulletin/PHPbb forums

I like NS how it is actually and I've been on some other big (bigger thjan ns) sites that use VB and it just doesn't seem as personal. Everyone always has ridic sigs and pics and annoying shit. NS is the sickest forum ever. I used to like VB better but it really has just gotten out of hand, like myspace and all that shit.

Okay, that makes sense, I didn't think of that before.  I'd rather keep NS the way it is than change it to incorporate this idea...and you're right, NS is sooo much better than a lot of other forums, way simpler and easier to use and understand.  We should keep it that way.
