Well, on Nov. 20th, 2007, I went up to Whistler for some earlier skiing. So I go up, hike with a friend a little with my brand new hellbents, ski Peak, and get to the bottom, and had a huge coreshot in the bottom of my new skis. It went into the wood. So we keep skiing and at lunch I call my buddy at school to brag about how great my day was, even though my ski had a big coreshot, I was still skiing and he was in school. He asked me if I knew (name of friend), I said, yea, he's ma boi. He replied, well, this morning, he died. He was going to pick his mom up from work (she's a nurse), and a truck came accross the center line and totalled his car. So every day I ski now, I think of him, because we had made plans for the next weekend to go up to Baker. So everytime I get the first chair up the mountain, I think of him.
I guess you could say that that was my worst day of skiing ever.
damn that sucks...
i think my worst was after hittin a jump iN kings crown park, i slammed my face into my leg, and spitted blood...being a trooper, i kept goin...then the next day, i got some skis, my first ones ever...Head Mojos with Rental bindings...they were demos...i tried to do my first kink, only to catch, and knock myself out, and putting a ton of chips in my new skis top sheets....along with the brakes not engaging, and me having to go further down the hill to get em...
uncalled for.
he was just describing his worst day ever. he wasnt saying that it was as serious as a dead friend
